The cold spell, sweeping across the district for the last three days, has paralysed life in the district.
The people, especially the poor ones, are suffering much due to lack of warm clothes.
Day labourers, children, elderly people are the worst sufferers for sudden cold weather. People are not going outside of their houses without emergency.
On Wednesday, the lowest temperature was recorded at 13.8 degrees Celsius in the district.
Chuadanga met office official Samadul Haque said the sun was covered with dense fog as a seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
The weather will improve in a couple of days, he added.
