Cold wave is sweeping over nine regions of the country, the meteorological department said on Saturday morning.
According to cold wave forecast, mild cold wave is sweeping over Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Panchagarh, Kushtia, Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Sreemangal and it may continue and spread.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 8 degree Celsius at Badalgachi in Naogaon on Saturday. Rajshahi saw 9 degree Celsius, Ishwardi 9.2 degree Celsius, Dinajpur 9.6 degree Celsius, Dimla 8.6 degree Celsius, Kumarkhali 8,5 degree Celsius, Sreemangal 9 degree Celsius and Kurigram witnessed 9.5 degree Celsius among the regions where cold wave is sweeping currently.
