Cold wave may improve from Sunday

Staff Reporter:The mild cold wave which sweeping over the country likely to improve from Sunday.

“|The cold wave has gripped the north-western part of the country is set to linger for two more days. It may be improve from Sunday,” said Bazlur Rashid,a meteorologist at the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Friday.

“The met offices found moderate to thick fog at places across the country. The cold wave may be reduced from Sunday,” said the meteorologist.

He said that the cold wave as well the foggy weather condition has been improved compared to Thursday. The temperature also has increased on Friday morning, he added.

The meteorologist said that the lowest temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga on Friday while it was 7.9 degrees celsius at the same district on Thursday.

In Dhaka, the BMD today recorded minimum temperature at 13.4 degrees Celsius while maximum temperature recorded at 16.2 degrees Celsius.
