Coastguard seized stolen diesel from Mongla Port

Some 5,480 liter diesel oil and a one thousand meter long mooring rope stolen from a foreign commercial ship staying at Mongla Sea Port in Bagerhat were seized along with a trawler from Pashur River by the members of the coastguards of the western Zone deployed Mongla recently, according to a delayed report received here.
Lt. Commander Shamsur Rahman, Detective Officer of the coastguards of the Western Zone (deployed Mongla) told, at the night acting on secret information a contingent of the coastguards raided the river Pashur, found a trawler in a suspicious movement and seized it (trawler).
