A devastating fire broke out at a CNG (Compressed natural gas) refueling station in the city’s Dholaipar area on Saturday morning.
Mahmud, duty officer of Fire Service Control Room, said a gas dispenser of Navana CNG Refueling Station suddenly ignited after being hit by covered van as its driver lost control over the steering at about 6:35 am and the fire spread in a moment. On information, three firefighting units from Postagola fire station rushed in and brought the blaze under control at about 6:54 am The covered van and a private car were gutted in the fire.
