CNG Driver also features Shamol Mawla, Mishti Jahan, and Ansar Ali among others. The 20th Pune International Short Film Festival will begin in March.
Director Robiul Shikdar said, “The telefilm was based on the struggles of women in our society. The society is constructed in such a way that people cannot accept a woman in a profession usually held by a man, gender roles are quite fixed. This was our attempt to showcase the struggles of women, who are often restricted to gender roles.”
