A CNG driver was stabbed to death and his taxi was hijacked at Bettarly in Katiadi town of Kishoreganj district on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Md Rony (20), son of Md Mahatabuddin in Bettaly area under Kutiadi Upazila, police said.
On Information, Additional Police Super Syed Abu Sayem visited the spot. A team of Detective Branch (DB) of District Police during the operation in Nurshingdi, Nandial, Hossionpur, Bhairab and Bajitpur and recovered the CNG from Narshingdi town. Police arrested 6 persons from Narshingdi Katiadi and Nandial. They have been identified as Shaheen (18) Sorab Miah (17), Rahmat (19) and Md Ali (18) . The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj Modern Hospital morgue for autopsy.
