One CNG driver was killed, 3 others were injured in road accident in Baraigram of Natore on Saturday. The driver lost control and fell into a ditch. The accident took place at Majhgram Union Parishad area of Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway at around 2pm on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Khalilur Rahman (50) son of late Hejad Ali of Noordah area in Baraigram upazila. The injured 3 passengers have been admitted to Bonpara Amena Hospital.
According to local sources, the CNG was going towards Bonpara Bazar with three passengers from Rezzak Mure in Baraigram municipal area. Suddenly, when he reached the Majhgram Union Parishad area, the CNG lost control and collided with a tree, twisting and falling into a ditch about 20 feet below.
The CNG driver was killed and three passengers were injured on the spot.
Bonpara Highway Police Station OC Keramat Ali said that three persons seriously injured in the accident. They have been admitted to the local hospital. However, the person who killed in the road accident has been allowed to bury the body without post mortem.
