The traffic department of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) filed a total of 748 cases against the same number of vehicles for violating traffic rules in the city in 24 hours from 6:00am on Tuesday.
A total of 38 vehicles including five CNG-run auto-rickshaws were seized for plying without proper documents, says the press release.
The department also realised Tk 5.37 lakh by fining different vehicles at that time.
