Most of the city dwellers are facing problems in transporting patients to the hospital due to the ongoing lockdown due to shortage of transports/ambulances. To solve this problem, under the direction ofChattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, PPM, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ports) Mr. SM Mehedi Hasan, BPM (Bar), Covid-19 and other emergency patient transport by CMP’s Port Division inaugurates Free Patient Transport Service.
The free patient transport service is ready to provide 03 microbuses and 15 CNG completely free patient transport services.
This service will be available 24/7 during the Corona virus epidemic. If there is a transport / ambulance crisis in transporting emergency patients, this free transport service will be available by contacting the duty officers of the four police stations of Bandar zone of the CMP. This service will be available for free patient transport anywhere from CMP Bandar zone areas to Chattogram metropolis.
