Police is the friend of the people irrespective caste and creed. Police Commissioner of CMP Abdul Jalil Mandol said this while inaugurating the Cleanliness Campaign in the city yesterday morning.
CMP commissioner alongwith high CMP officials led by Police commissioner Abdul Jalil Mondol inaugurated the campaign by cleaning the premises infront of Jamiatul Falah Mosque in city . The police officials took broom stick to clean the premises. About thousand police forces participated the cleanliness campaign .
The campaign started from 11 am which continued about one and a half an hours. The inaugural campaign of cleanliness starts from Jamiatul Falah mosque to Isphani crossing through Mohammad Ali road and Mohammad Ali road to Kazir Dewri through Almas Cinema .
The police officials cleaned the debris, wastes from the road and drains during their campaign drive. Police Commissioner told that the campaign will continue gradually in all city areas to make awarness among the city dwellers to clean their premises .
During the cleanliness campaign, pedestrians and elites of the city observed it is a wise steps of the police commissioner to keep the city clean and healthy.
