Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Abdul Jalil Mondal called upon the people to refrain from throwing stones to police rather to extend cooperation .
He said, police is your friend and any complaints against them inform me and we will take necessary measures against them.
He disclosed it while addressing the views exchange meeting arranged by Patenga Model thana Community Policing Unit yesterday at 11 am .
He further said the verge of Police Janata Bhai, Bhai need to be implemented in true sense . He also mentioned that 5% of the city residents are earmarked as bad nature and we want to wipe out them from the socity. Among others Additional Police Commissioner(Admn) AKM shahidur Rahman, Add. Police Commissioner (Operations) Banaj Kumar, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Md. Sujaet Islam , Dy Police Commissioner(Port) Harunur Rashid spoke on the occasion.
Officer in-charge of Patenga Model thana and Coordinator of Patenga thana Community Policing Kazi Shahabuddin Ahmed delivered address of welcome in it, CMP sources said.
