Police Commissioner of Chittagong Abdul Jalil Mondol again come down in city roads taking broomstick aimed at cleaning the city .
He was accompanied by newly elected city Mayor AJM Nasiruddin . The cleaning programs begins from the Jamiatul Falah Mosque Maidan yesterday at 10 am and city mayor Nasir Uddin inaugurated the new cleaning campaign as Chief Guest.
Among others, Additional police commissioners AKM Sahidur Rahman & Banaj Kumar Majumder, all deputy commissioners of police with respective OCs took part in the campaign. Police commissioner said every day they will conduct this cleaning programs for two hours before starting office hours . CM P commissioner asked all city dwellers, owners of shops, office and building to clean their respective areas and thana OCs will monitor the campaign , sources said.
Mentionable that Abdul Jalil Mondol joined CMP on Septermber 21 last and cleanliness programs launched from October 24 last under his leadership, sources said.
