A worker of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) was stabbed to death allegedly by his fellow on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Farhadul Islam,26, son of Nurul Alam, a resident of Matarbari village in Moheshkhali upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. Sub-inspector Jahirul Islam, in-charge of CMCH police camp, said Masud, worker of CMCH’s canteen, attacked Farhadul at about 6am.
At one stage, he stabbed Farhadul indiscriminately with sharp weapon, leaving him severely injured.
Farhadul was admitted
to CMCH where he succumbed to his injures later.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately, the SI added.
