The irregularities in procuring different hospital equipments and furniture without approval of the procurement committee as alleged.
A reliable sources said separate purchase committee are existed in this public hospital but no process for procuring hospital necessities through procurement committee as alleged which published in different national daily recently.
It is learnt that a influential quarters in the administration department dominating the purchase process. Sufferers sources said physicians and nurses are confined in the hands of the influential gang. A vernacular daily reports sources said without bribe in admin section, no filed move from one table to another table. Very recently one employee named Milan Rudra was caught red handed by Anti corruption team with bribe money.
A sources on condition of anonymity told that in last April month, hospital’s patient bed and chairs were purchased without the approval of purchase committee as well as evaluation & scrutiny committee. These furniture were purchased without follow the procurement process, sources alleged. While contacted Dy Director of CMCH Dr. Aktarul Islam told that these furniture were purchased from govt organisation directly as per govt approved price and hence no need of approval of procurement committee in connection
