Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) has organized Club Fair of fall semester 2014 to encourage the newly admitted students.
University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir inaugurated Club Fair at Green Garden of the university campus recently. The clubs like Business Club, Marketing Club, Debating Club, FTDM Club, Textile Club, EEE Club, Law Club, Cultural Club, Sports Club, Social Bonding Club, English Club, Green Warrior, Reading Society, Photograph Club and Computer Club etc help students to gain practical experience with their subjects of study or interests. In total, there are thirteen clubs in Green University. Each club works and mobilizes students for different aspects.
University Treasurer and Director of the Student Affairs Md. Shahid Ullah acted as key person along with Assistant Director Dr Afzal Hossain Khan and Mishkat Al Alvi to organize the club fair. Presence of the Registrar Lt Col Md. Ali Ambial Haque Khan (Retd), Controller of Examinations, Prof. SMK Nazmul Haque, chairpersons of various departments, faculty members, officials and a large number of students made the occasion into an event of joy and happiness.
