Class three govt. employees demand 30 pc DA

Bangladesh third class government employees demanded 30 percent dearness allowance (DA) soon.
“After the last national pay scale of 2015, we are facing about 32 percent inflation. Price hiked in every items including electricity, gas and water. In these circumstances, the third class employees are passing very hard days with their low income,” said, Harunur Rashid, Advisor of Bangladesh Class-three Government Employees Association.
He said it while speaking as a Chief Guest in founding anniversary of the association at Land Record and Survey Department at Tejgaon in the city on Friday.
The other speakers also demanded second class status of Diploma Health Technologists and Pharmacists, like Diploma Nurses.
Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, President of the association presided over the programme.
Shah Mohammad Shafiul Haque, the advisor of the association, Lutfar Rahman, Secretary General of the organization, Abdul Mannan, Vice-President of the organization, Rafiqul Islam, and Md. Monirul Islam from the organization, also gave speech, among others on the occasion.
