The gala event of the first ever ‘Clash Royale Grameenphone Championship’, was held at GP House on Sunday.
The tournament commenced on February 23, said a press release.
In all, 12 participants competed for the championship at the event, at GP House, and Mohammad Arman Jubayed Khan emerged as the champion while Istiaque Rahman became the first and Redwan Sahir Ayon became the second runners-up in the Clash Roayle Grameenphone Championship 2017.
Registration for the month-long tournament began in February. From 9,000 registrants, the first 5,000 played for the first round, which was held from March 13 to 19.
Top three winners of the tournament at the event received in-game gems from Clash Royale.
The champion got 2,500 gems, while the first and second runners-up received 2,000 and 1,500 gems respectively.
Clash Royale is a multiplayer game from Supercell, makers of Clash of Clans – a game that quickly became a global phenomenon. The game was released globally in 2016, and won Google Play Store’s ‘Best Game of the Year’.
