Double Mooring thana police of CMP rounded up 15 persons allegedly involved with the tender business in Public Works Deptt, Chattogram following the clash between two groups at PWD office on Tuesday afternoon.
The heinous incident of scuffle between the groups occurred in nfront of Additional Chief Engineer’s office in Agrabad commercial hub of the port city .
The detained tender manipulators are- Md. Elias, Md.Ratul Hasan, Sajib Khondakar, Md. Hasan Murad, Abul Mansur, Shah Mohd, Md. Shamsuddin,Md. Faizul Islam, Md. Jamsed, Md. Jalal,Faisal Khan, Md. Yousuf, Md. Rakib, Md. Jasimuddin, Md. Nurnabi. All detained belong to Chatra league, Jubo league activists of Double thana areas , police added.
It is learnt , the clash erupted between Mostafa Kamal Tipu led group and the Parvez group infront of Chief engineers office. Officer incharge of Double thana police Sandip Kumar Das admitted the fact of tender controlling clash and arrest of 15 unruly youths from the spot.
