A sporadic clash in between the two factions of jubodal broke out in city BNP office atJubilee road on Sunday evening leave 3 activists were injured.
Chase , counter chase and indiscriminate beatings occurred between them at about 5 pm in the protest rally of BNP .
Eye witnesses said, centring a tripling matter and altercations clash erupted between Bakalia jubodal leader Badsha and Enayet Bazar Jubo Dal leader Shamsul Alam , scuffle and chase , counter chase occurred. As a central program of BNP , city BNP unit was observing the protest programme against decline of permission to BNP to hold rally in Suhrawordy Uddayan in Dhaka. While contact the officer in-charge of Kotwali thana police said following the altercations of two factions of the Jubo Dal, the incident occurred but they did not find any one after arrival of police force there.
Housewife electrocuted: One housewife died of electrocution in city on Sunday evening. The housewife identified as Shilpi chowdhury(42) , wife of one Sajib Chowdhury.
The incident occurred at a rental quarter of Taher colony in Chowkbazar area in city on Sunday at about 6 pm. Chittagong Medical college Hospital police camp sources said she was electrocuted in their rental house in Taher colony who immediately rushed to the hospital where the attending physicians declared her death.
