Pirates of Chittagong and Regency Sporting Club won their respective matches in the Confidence Cement-CJKS First Dision Cricket League at two separte venues in the port city on Thursday.
Pirates of Chittagong beat Railway SA by seven wickets at MA Aziz Stadium here while Regency SC defeated Little Brothers by five wickets at new venue-Sagarika Women’s Complex ground.
At MA Aziz Stadium, Bangladesh Railway SA batted first after winning the toss and were all out for 94 runs in 35 overs with Zasbir Khan making 35, Imran Hossain 23 and Mohammad Hasan 16 runs.
Harun, Parvez, Anshuman and Fahad claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Pirates of Chittagong reached their target scoring match-winners 95 runs for loss of three wickets in 27.3 overs with Al Amin scoring 27, Abdul Kader 24, Armanullah 16 and Fahad Haque 14 runs.
