UNB, Laxmipur :Chief Justice SK Sinha on Wednesday called on lawyers, judges and members of the police to abide by their respective rules.Addressing the 1st tri-monthly judicial conference at Laxmipur Circuit House, the Chief Justice also observed that the judiciary cannot be maintained if the protector turns the predators.About the judicial backlog, he instructed for speedy disposal of all the cases that go as far back as five years before 2011, no matter whether the lawyer attends the hearing or not.The Chief Justice also expressed his dissatisfaction over the lawyers’ walkout of Laxmipur court without informing him.Requests were made to the lawyers to return to the court and assist the judicial process from Thursday.
