UNB, Dhaka :Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha on Monday made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban.During the meeting, the Chief Justice apprised Abdul Hamid of the activities of the judiciary, and expressed gratitude to the President as he attended the first judicial conference held on December 26 last year.President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting.Sinha said, the presence of the President in the conference inspired the officials in the judiciary which will accelerate the activities of the judiciary.President Hamid observed that the exchange of opinions by officials of the judiciary by holding the conference will cast a positive impact on their workplaces.He advised the Chief Justice to hold the conference every year. Secretaries concerned to the President Office were present.
