Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon said that the Eid-ul-Azha’s main Jamat (congregation) would be held on the National Eidgah premises beside High Court on August 22 (Wednesday) at 8am.
In case of inclement weather, the first congregation will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8:30 am. For this reason, all sort of preparations have been ordered to be completed by August 19.
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon announced it in a meeting about overall security measures to be taken around Eidgah ground on Tuesday (August 14).
The Mayor said also, “Details will be given after completing all preparatory work on Sunday (August 19).
Preparation is also taken to withstand thunderstorms, Mayor Sayeed Khokon said.
