UNB, Dhaka :A fire broke out at restaurant in the city’s Gulshan area on Friday.Officials at the Fire Service central control room said the fire originated at about 3:30 pm at a small makeshift restaurant of Transcom Food located on the rooftop of a 4-storey building at Gulshan 1 intersection.Two firefighting units went to the spot and doused the flame at about 4:40 pm, said Nilufar Yesmin, an official of the control room.The fire could have been originated from burning cigarettes and led to a loss of about Tk 4 lakh, she added.No injury was reported in the incident.
