Talking to some traders and buyers, it was learnt that the small and medium-size cows are on the high priority.
However, the law enforcers and volunteers were facing troubles to maintain safety measures in all the cattle markets as most of those are large in size and prsenee of buyers were thick.
The traders were taking position in the markets in compliance with the orders and prohibitions of the market authorities and maintaining hygiene rules.

Meanwhile, Abdur Rahman, a cattle trader from Chuadanga brought five small and medium size cows at Dhupkhola playground cattle market on Thursday.

Another trader Hatem Alli from Kushtia brought four cows to Zinzira cattle market. He could not sell till Wednesday afternoon due to low presence of buyers. However two cows were sold on Thursday morning.
Hatem Ali said, I expect to sell all of our cattle before Eid day as the buyers have started coming finally. If this trend I hope I will catch good price.
Visiting other cattle markets in the capital, including Gabtoli, Sadeque Hossain Khoka playground and Shahjahanpur, it was seen that there were a good number of buyers.
