Implementation of Citrus Development Project (CDP) at a cost of Taka 18 crore at different places under 17 districts including Chittagong Hill Tracts is going on in full swing, Project Director of CDP Keshab Lal Das said.
The CDP is undertaken to expand fruits’ farming belonging to citrus species including orange, malta and lemons in the country.
The project is being carried out at different places in 67 upazila under 17 districts including Rangamati, Khagrachari, Bandarban, Chittagong, Comilla, Brahmanbaria, Moulvibazaar, Sylhet, Narsingdi, Gazipur, Tangail, Mymensingh, Netrakona, Sherpur, Thakurgoan and Panchagarh.
