bdnews24.com :The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police have questioned the report of murdered Comilla college student Sohagi Jahan Tonu’s second autopsy, in which the forensic doctors found no cause of death but ‘signs of sexual intercourse’.”They (doctors) didn’t see any bruise on the body. Then how did they find sign of sexual intercourse?” Comilla CID’s Special SP Nazmul Karim Khan asked, speeking to bdnews24.com on Thursday. A medical board headed by Comilla Medical College Hospital forensic department chief Kamda Prasad Saha conducted the second autopsy but, like in the first autopsy, found no cause of death.”The second autopsy on Tonu revealed that she had sexual intercourse before death,”  Saha said, evading journalists’ questions on the rape charge. CID official Khan had earlier claimed to have found seminal fluid of ‘several’ persons on Tonu’s cloth in a DNA test.On Thursday, he said the persons whose seminal fluid was found were three in number. He also said, the CID made a list of suspects. “The murder mystery will be solved once we match the DNAs found on Tonu’s cloth and those of the suspects, and the evidence collected from the murder site and the surrounds,” Khan said.”We have already reviewed the information and evidence with the list of suspects. We will also discuss these in a meeting next week when we may decide to seek permission from the higher authorities for the DNA test of the suspects,” he added. He said nothing can be said in a hurry since the murder site was ‘sensitive’.Tonu’s body was found near her home at Olipur in Comilla Cantonment on March 20.Police said, the body and murder scene indicated that the 19-year-old had been raped before being murdered. Protests erupted across Bangladesh over the murder in a secure army base. Several groups alleged there was an attempt to cover up the incident. The second autopsy was conducted on Mar 30 following a court order amidst public protests.
