Australian hard hitter Chris Lynn will play for Khulna Titans in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. Chris Lynn played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the outgoing IPL. Khluna Titans have recruited Chris Lynn for the fifth edition of BPL scheduled to be held this year. The franchisee of Khulna Titans confirmed this matter on Wednesday.
Lynn is a common face in Australian Cricket. He is a noted batsman in Big Bash. Big Bash is the Twenty20 Cricket Tournament of Australia. Before IPL, Chris Lynn was not famous. But after outstanding batting performance in IPL, Chris Lynn became well known to most of the cricket viewers of the world.
Lynn scored altogether 295 runs in seven matches in the outgoing IPL.
He has been included in the Australian 15-member squad for ICC Champions Trophy. But he did not get chance to play in Champions Trophy.
Meanwhile, Khulna Titans have recruited Shadab Khan and Sarfraz Ahmed. Besides, Khulna Titans has kept pacer Junaid Khan for BPL.
Former ace batsman of Sri Lanka Mahela Jayawardene has signed an agreement with Khulna Titans to coach the cricketers of Khulna Titans during the BPL.
