Chittagong Police commissioner instantly transferred (stand release) the Officer Incharge of Chowkbazar thana Aziz Ahmed for holding meeting in thana premises with the Jubo League leader Noor Mustafa Tino as allegedly accused in a criminal case of the thana rather arresting him .
CMP Commissioner Iqbal Bahar in an urgent office order on Sunday night transferred the OC Aziz Ahmed to SB branch of CMP with stand release from chowdkbazar thana, a CMP release sources said. Inspector of Karnaphuli thana (Investigation) Md. Nurul Huda replaced the Aziz Ahmed in Chowkbazr thana as OC who joined on Monday.
