Superb bowling display by Chittagong Division bowlers helped them to fight back on the second day as Rajshahi Division suffered batting collapse in their first innings scoring 223 for 8 at stumps on in the Tier 2 of four-day National Cricket League held on Wednesday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Saqlain Sajib with 2 and Muktar Al with 1 at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day. Kazi Kamrul Islam was the pick of Chittagong bowler as he grabbed three wickets conceding 69 runs.
He was well supported by Iftekhar Sajjad who bagged two wickets giving away 19 runs.
Earlier, Chittagong Division resumed their first innings on the second day (Wednesday) at overnight score of 277 for 8 and finally all out for 315.
