Chittagong Division team will meet Khulna Division team in the opening match of the Development Cup Under-16 Football Competition at the Physical Education College Ground in Mohammadpur today.
A total of nine divisional teams will compete in the five-day long football competition. They are: Dhaka Division team, Chittagong Division team, Rajshahi Division team, Khulna Division team, Rangpur Division team, Barisal Division team, Sylhet Division team and Mymensingh Division team.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP, will inaugurate the football competition today as the chief guest while Acting Secretary of the Youth and Sports Directorate Kazi Akhter Uddin Ahmed will be present with him as the special guest.
Director of Sports Directorate Md Abul Hashem will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
