Chittagong Div score 67 for 2 in NCL 1st day

Rain almost spoiled the first day’s play between Chittagong and Rajshahi Divisions of the tier two second round match of 19th National Cricket League (NCL) at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi on Friday.
Put to bat first by Rajshahi, Chittagong went to open their first innings at 2.30 pm and scored 67 for 2 at stumps, after wet outfield and rain delayed the first day’s play.
Tasamul Haque and Yasir Ali were on the crease with 10 and 8 runs as bad light forced to stop the play in the afternoon.
Sanzamul Haque and Saqlain Sajib shared one wicket each for Rajshahi.
While the first day’s play between Dhaka and Rangpur Divisions of second round tier one match was called off due to wet and soggy outfield at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
At Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar, the tier two second round match between Dhaka Metro and Sylhet Division was called off without being a ball being bowled due to wet out field.
