Chittagong Division lost their opener Jasim early as they scored 41 for 1 at stumps against Dhaka Metro on the second day of tier 2 four-day 19th Walton Smart Fridge National Cricket League held on Saturday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Sadikur Rahman with 26 and Iftekhar Sajjad with 4 at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Ashraful took one 1 for 10.
Earlier, Dhaka Metro resumed their first innings with overnight score at 236 for 3 and declared their first innings at 369 for 9.
Overnight batsman Mehrab Hossain Junior short six runs from his deserving century while Ashraful (66) and Asif Ahmed (64) hit brilliant half centuries for Metro.
Iftekhar Sajjad finished with an impressive figure of 5 for 91 runs.
