Chittagong Division clinched the inaugural title of the Development Cup Football tournament beating Rajshahi Division by 1-0 goal in the final at Government Physical Training College ground here on Wednesday.
Sadiul Alam scored the all important goal in the 2nd half of the day’s final match for the winners.
Sadiul Alam also became the highest scorer of the tournament scoring 5 goals while goalkeeper Sheikh Saifuzzaman of the same team was adjudged best player.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy MP distributed prizes among the winners.
