A mobile court of Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Jannatul Afroz Swarna has imposed fine of Tk 5500 in ten cases conducting campaign in different places of Chitalmari on Thursday for not wearing masks and failure to comply with the hygiene rules.
She said the campaign was conducted to make people aware of the prevention of corona infection in the upazila. She said that the administration is always alert and working relentlessly to make the people aware of the need to protect themselves from corona infection, besides wearing masks and adhering to health rules. Following such a routine work as per the part of ongoing drive, a fine of Tk 5,500 was levied in ten cases for not wearing a mask and not following hygiene rules.
She added that the ongoing campaign will continue.
