A three-member delegation led by Jun, Senior Project Manager of Overseas Business Department of the Publishing and Media Group Company Limited, China on Tuesday called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office of the university.
Other members of the delegation were Abel Zhang and Xuefei Bai. Associate Professor of DU Institute of Modern Languages M Afzal Hossain was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed possibilities of establishing a modern library at the university with the financial assistance from the Chinese company.
The delegation members expressed their interest to provide facilities for DU students for doing internship at the Chinese Company. They also expressed their willingness to increase job opportunities for DU graduates at various Chinese companies in Bangladesh.
