Chinese Taipei opened their account in the six-nation AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017 (Group-C) Qualifiers securing full three points as they notched a 7-1 victory against Kyrgyzstan in the tournament opener at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Chinese Taipei captain Su Yu-Hsuan and midfielder Jheng Ya-Zia scored two goals each for the side while medio Nien Ching-Yun, forward He Xin-Rou and substitute forward Yu Ya-Xuan netted one goal apiece.
Kyrgyzstan midfielder Adelia Erkinbaeva scored the lone consolation goal by a right footed grounder shot from the left-edged top of the six-yard box, after carrying the ball from left flank.
In the day’s match, Kyrgyzstan took the lead with Adelia Erkinbaeva’s scored in the very 3rd minute, 1-0.
Chinese Taipei captain Su Yu-Hsuan equalized the margin in the match in the 12th minute dribbling past a Kyrgyz defender to take a right-footed grounder shot from inside the box that fired the net, 1-1.
Chinese Taipei took the lead with Su Yu-Hsuan’s 2nd goal in the 23rd minute as he converted a penalty shot correctly, 2-1.
Midfielder Nien Ching-Yun extended the lead in the 26th minute by a left footer for the box, utilising a pass of Tseng Yun-Ya, 3-1.
Jheng Ya-Zia scored her 1st and team’s 4th goal in the 28th minute by a header from goal mouth. Midfielder Nien Ching-Yun took a right footer shot from right flank that was rebounded from crossbar and Jheng Ya-Zia connected the ball with header to send home, 4-1.
In the 44th minute, forward He Xin-Rou put the 5th goal for Chinese Taipei carrying the ball from midfield with a solo effort to fire the net deceiving Kyrgyz goalie goalkeeper Adelina Iskakova, 5-1.
Chinese Taipei dominated the 1st half by 5-1 margin.
After the humiliating 1st half, Kyrgyzstan took defensive strategy to protect their post playing with 4-3-3 format, but all went in vain against Chinese Taipei’s 3-4-3 format of pressing game.
Jheng Ya-Zia scored her 2nd and the team’s 6th one in the 80th minute by a left footed shot from top of the six-yard box, 6-1.
Substitute forward Yu Ya-Xuan extended the winning margin scoring the 7th one in the penultimate minute by a header from inside the box, connecting a cross of midfielder Tseng Yun-Ya from right flank, 7-1.
Chinese Taipei will play their next match against United Arab Emirates while Chinese Taipei to face IR Iran, both at the same venue on Monday.
