A Chinese delegation comprised of different religions called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s residence on Saturday.
China Islamic Association Secretary General led the six-member delegation, said DU release.
During the meeting they discussed a wide range of bilateral issues including the matters related to Dhaka University, Chinese communal harmony and its inter-religion stance.
They also exchanged views on joint education and research with Department of World Religions and Culture of DU.
Professor Siddique highlighted the long-lasting and historical relations between Bangladesh and China and thanked the delegation for their visit.
