Coming from Argentina, Chinese President Xi Jinping is now visiting Venezuela for two-days, as part of his tour in Latin America.
The program here includes the closing of the XIII Joint High Commission China-Venezuela and a meeting with parliamentarians on Monday at the Legislative Palace, officials sources reported.
The joint business meeting was opened Saturday by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Elias Jaua, in which he stressed the importance of strengthening the large traditional relations between the two countries.
Venezuelan and Chinese people are undergoing a process of mutual acquaintance and recognition that makes shorter cultural and geographical distances; and therefore, this relation is strengthened in that permanent approach, said the Foreign Minister.
