Chinese firms operating in Kenya have created over 50,000 local jobs with the proportion of local employees reaching 96 percent in 2018, according to a report unveiled by Kenya-China Economic and Trade Association (KCETA) recently.
Bilateral cooperation between China and Kenya has yielded fruitful results in fields such as major infrastructure projects, poverty alleviation, public health, cultural exchanges and special economic zone construction, facilitating industrialization in Kenya and creating plenty of jobs, noted the report.
