Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh Ma Mingqiang called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique on Wednesday at his office.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of exchange of students and teachers between DU and universities of China.
They also discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint academic and research programmes by DU with other universities of China.
Head of political section of Chinese Embassy in Dhaka Hu Hailiang,
cultural counselor Chen Shuang, second secretary Huang Lei and Associate Prof
of DU Modern Languages Institute M Afzal Hossain were present at the meeting.
