UNB, Dhaka :Chinese Defence Minister General Chang Wanquan arrived here on Saturday afternoon on a three-day visit, aiming to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. He is leading a 39-member high-level delegation.Bangladesh Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq welcomed the Chinese Defense Minister at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.Armed Forces Division’s Principal Staff Officer Lt Gen Md Mahfuzur Rahman and Chinese Ambassador in Dhaka Ma Mingqiang were also present, said a handout issued by the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).The delegation will meet President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during the visit.They will also meet the chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force apart from Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division, and visit various establishments. The delegation is scheduled to leave Dhaka on Monday.
