Theatre and Performance Studies of Dhaka University in association with China Radio International (CRI) organised at a discussion and cultural function at Natmondal of Dhaka University on August 26. Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh Li Jun, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddiqui, Vice Chancellor of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology Prof Dr Shamsul Haque, Director General of Bangladesh Betar Kazi Akhter Uddin Ahmed, former ambassador of Bangladesh in China Munshi Fayez Ahmed, Chairman of Theatre and Performance Studies of DU Dr Md Saiful Islam spoke on the programme.Later a cultural function was held at Natmondal where traditional Chinese performances including Chinese Usu, See Me Fly song, display of paintings, etc were presented. Therefore, students of Theatre and Performance Studies of DU and CRI rendered Tagore and Chinese folk songs in the function. However, documentary was screened and mime acting was also performed by them.
