Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu and new Chinese ambassador Ma Mingqiang yesterday focused on modernization of technology in the sectors of cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
Inception of advanced technical know-how in media, construction and tourism sectors will enhance Bangladesh’s growth and China is ready to provide it with the most advanced solutions, said ambassador Ma Mingqiang at his call on Information Minister at secretariat here yesterday afternoon.
The information minister reiterated Bangladesh’s support to One-China policy as the ambassador said, China pursues the policy of non-interference in internal affairs of other countries, a similar foreign policy of Bangladesh.
Ma Mingqiang said, his government looks forward to strengthening ties with the constitutional government of Bangladesh.
Development and exchange of media content including translation of dramas in both the languages, construction of roads and infrastructures as well as development of site and communication in tourism sectors were discussed in the meeting.
The Chinese ambassador nodded to the information minister’s proposal to send a media team to China in celebration of 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations with China this year.
