Staff Reporter: A China returnee student has been admitted to a government hospital in Habiganj on suspicion of infecting with the novel coronavirus.
Dr Mostafizur Rahman, Habiganj Civil Surgeon said, the student was sent to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after being admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening.
The student, returned from China recently is a native of Sayestaganj Sadar Upazila of the district.
“He will undergo medical tests and blood samples will be sent to Dhaka shortly,” Dr. Rahman said to journalists.
He said also that no signs of coronavirus were found on him.
