China Better Business Bureau (China BBB) has agreed to work together with the Hi-Tech Park authority to help raise investment for construction of the Park. This was announced following a meeting between ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak and delegates form China BBB.

A Chinese delegation of China Better Business Bureau (China BBB) headed by Judy Xie recently meet with State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed at his office recently.
During the meeting, State Minister Zunaid Palak informed the Chinese delegation that the country is interested in collaborating with China to improve Bangladesh’s ICT sector, which includes the Hi-Tech park ad several other similar projects.
The China BBB delegation was also requested to set up a Chinese language and vocational training institute within the Park and also to increase China’s participation in developing the Bangladeshi tech sector.
“The Chinese State business platform- China BBB, will help take the task of realizing Digital Bangladesh even further.” He further stated, “The Chinese State business platform- China BBB, will help take the task of realizing Digital Bangladesh even further.” At the meeting, it was also discussed extensively as to how the local IT scene can be further developed and how China can contribute to it.
In response to the request, the visiting Chinese delegation assured Palak of working on the issues. A memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed in early September next year to this effect, ICT Division officials said.
“The Chinese government and Chinese investors are deeply linked to the ‘Digital Bangladesh’ programme announced by the incumbent government,” the ICT ministry quoted Chief Executive Officer of China BBB Judy Xie.
The Chinese business platform BBB China, nominated by the Chinese government, will try to further advance the implementation process of ‘Digital Bangladesh’ vision, the delegation assured the minister.
