Child Rights Awareness Concert on Friday

A ‘Child Rights Awareness Concert’ will be held at Krishibid Institute Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in the capital on Friday aiming to raise voice against child abuse and protect the rights of children.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen will be present at the concert in the afternoon as the chief guest, while Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Atiqul Islam will join the programme as special guest.
Prominent singer Sabina Yasmin and vocalist Hassan Abidur Reja Jewel, among others, will perform in the concert. On the occasion of the concert, Distressed Children and Infants International (DCI) and Rights and Sight for Children (RSC) jointly arranged a press conference at a city hotel today.
Speaking at the press conference, Sabina Yasmin said she has been working with the DCI during the last five years and the organization is working really well for the distressed children.
“Let us work for children. All should come forward to protect the rights of children,” she added.
Vocalist Hassan Abidur Reja Jewel, chairman of Debate for Democracy Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron and DCI executive director Dr Ehsan Haque were present, among others, at the press conference..
