A six years child named Anupam Roy was killed when he was run over by an easy bike at Kainmari area within Chandpai Union Parishad under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district on Thursday afternoon, according to a report received here. The ill-fated child is the only son of one Mintu Roy of village Kainmari (under the Upazila).
It iss learnt from Jugal Roy, paternal uncle of the deceased boy that at the afternoon he was going to attend to a religious ceremony along with his paternal grand mother and when they were crossing a road in Kainmari Paschimpara area the killer easy bike that was coming from the opposite direction ran over the boy and fled away. As a result, he sustained severe injuries on his and body. He was immediately admitted to Mongla Upazila Health Complex where he succumbed to his injuries after a few minutes.
