A four-year child was killed allegedly by his mother over extra marital affairs with a man at Taulakup village under Bagharpara upazila in Jessore, Insar Ali, father -in-law of the housewife alleged.
The victim is Minhaz, 4, son of Imdadul Haque of Joradah village under Jessore sadar upazila.
Insar Ali alleged that his daughter -in-law Salma Begum, daughter of Abdul Maleq of Taulakup village under Bagharpara upazila kept the body of her child under rotten jute in the river Chitra near her father’s residence after killing him over her extra-marital affairs with a man on Tuesday. ‘Being informed the police recovered the body from the river at around 9:30pm on the day,’ he added.
